Premier League fans don't say "Feed The Yak" for no reason. Yakubu Aiyegbeni was a feared striker during all of his playing days. If all you remember of this great was his miss at the world cup against South Korea in 2010 then you've missed out on the wonders of "The Yak".

At just 19, he became the first ever African to score a champions league hat trirck in 2002 scoring all 3 goals for Maccabi Haifa in their 3-0 win over Olympiakos.

He is Nigeria's top scorer in the premier league with 95 goals, he also has 4 premier league hat-tricks, the joint most of any African player in the league together with Mohammed Salah.

With 21 goals in 57 appearances for the Super Eagles, Yakubu was a force in attack and he deserves alot more respect as he is also one of Africa's most prolific strikers till date.

Even with that miss, he is still a big Hit
